St. Leon Ladies Society Celebrates Feast & Anniversary

In honor of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the 125th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diocese of North America of the Armenian Church, and the 13th Anniversary of St. Leon Ghevondiants Armenian Cathedral, a reception was organized on Sunday, September 17, 2023, by the wonderful St. Leon Ladies Society after a blessed #DivineLiturgy!

The St. Leon Ladies Society were able to take a picture with the celebrant & homilist of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, as well as our dear Yeretskin Tamara Shahbazyan.

Pride the Ladies carry for not only the St. Leon Ghevontiants Armenian Cathedral, but as well as the Western Diocese of North America; a ‘Home’ to many of our dear Brothers & Sisters!

We congratulate our leader & Parish Priest, Father Khajag Shahbazyan, for the 13th Anniversary of the Cathedral! It’s an honor & pleasure working alongside our dear Der Khajag! We are blessed to have not only a Spiritual Father amongst us, but as well as a mentor & dear friend!
